Türkiye's Dakar Ambassador Nur Sağman and representatives of Turkish institutions attended the workshop organized for TMV high school students in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Dakar, Dakar Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) and the Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMV) Senegal representatives.

Ambassador Sağman made a short speech about the meaning and importance of the day at the event held in the Dakar YEI garden, and then participated in the workshop and shot arrows.

While the students were doing sports by shooting arrows, they also learned about the place of archery in Turkish history.

Dakar YEI Coordinator Merve Işık Efe stated that Senegalese people love doing sports, so they are pleased with the public's interest in the courses opened within Dakar YEI to promote traditional Turkish archery.
